Family Self-Sufficiency
The collaboration with Delray Beach Housing Authority is intended to guide families along the road to becoming economically self-sufficient and independent of the social service system. This includes cultivating improved employment training opportunities and creating avenues for saving money that may ultimately lead to homeownership.
The goal is to help families help themselves to a better life. The Family Self-Sufficiency Program provides counseling, support and case management services for families referred by the Delray Beach Housing Authority and community at large.
Services Include:
- Vital financial guidance and education
- Career development
- Referrals for counseling, child care and other critical family needs
- Preparation for first time homeownership
- Individual counseling and support groups
