On April 8th, Families First celebrated the 20th anniversary of providing services in Palm Beach County. Originally called Children’s Case Management Organization, the name was changed in 2005 to Families First of Palm Beach County. The organization has grown from providing services to families with developmentally disabled children to six diverse programs that include Targeted Outreach to Pregnant Women, Bright Beginnings, Healthy Families, Kin Support Project, Family Self Sufficiency and Bridges to Success. The celebration was held at the main office on Forest Hill Boulevard in West Palm Beach and featured a new video, produced by Tim Mahlbacher, and gifts from the Board of Directors and staff to Julie Swindler, the CEO, who has been with the agency since its founding.
